24 hours operation 7 days a week with 3 shifts a day
Security Features
RHS Logistics site security is provided by an independent company - 24 hours a day and 365/7 days of the year. Visitor’s access is strictly controlled. The site is illuminated at night and all free exit doors are alarmed. All dock doors are lockable. All storage chamber forklift truck entrance doors have a secondary steel shutter to provide further fire protection. There is CCTV coverage to the entire complex.
A no smoking policy is strictly enforced through all areas of the distribution centre. No hazardous cargo is stored in the facility. All staff have completed a course on using the fire fighting equipment.
A sophisticated means of fire detection is used. A laser system scans the storage areas to detect smoke. If triggered the alarm is sounded. At the same time an alarm at the Dubai Port fire station alerts the need for action. In the meantime all fire shutters in the warehouse close immediately.
