Open Yard Management
Started in January 2018, our open yard located adjacently to WC20 and WC21 in Dubai Logistics City provides a total of 54,000 SQM of open yard storage for Non hazardous Oil & Gas pipes andvarious supporting equipment, wheeled or track vehicles, construction materials, project break bulk cargo, generators, automotive etc. This Open Yard is compacted road based floor leveled to allow water to drain off the site, and our 2.4m fence with 24/7security provides a secure environment for cargo stored in the facility. Items are categorized onto our database and stored with adequate spacing between for placement and removal.

Security Features
RHS Logistics site security is provided by an independent company– 24 hours a day and 365/7 days of the year. Visitor’s access is strictly controlled. The site is illuminated at night and all free exit doors are alarmed. All dock doors are lockable. All storage chamber forklift truck entrance doors have a secondary steel shutter to provide further fire protection. There is CCTV coverage to the entire complex.
A no smoking policy is strictly enforced through all areas of the distribution centre. No hazardous cargo is stored in the facility. All staff have completed a course on using the fire fighting equipment.
A sophisticated means of fire detection is used. A laser system scans the storage areas to detect smoke. If triggered the alarm is sounded. At the same time an alarm at the Dubai Port fire station alerts the need for action. In the meantime all fire shutters in the warehouse close immediately.
